Auseal Sealers & Solvents
AUSEAL – EC25 is a general purpose concrete sealant specifically formulated for sealing and protecting dry concrete based domestic floors and driveways where a medium gloss finish is required. AUSEAL EC25 is based on 100% acrylic copolymer.
AUSEAL BLEND XYLENE is used as a thinner for Auseal – Curite solvent based sealer, and also as a general cleaner for machinery and applicators.
Auseal Blend Solvent can also be used to clean concrete sealers and prepare them for sealing. It can also soak out grease and oil stains from concrete prior to sealing.

Auseal Blend Solvent is used for thinning down solvent based resin products, either because of high viscosity, or to assist penetration into the substrate. An exception is 50% solvent for Hardseal, High Gloss or Supreme Seal is recommended.
Auseal Blend Solvent is used for cleaning spray equipment, broom heads or rollers. If using to clean spraying machines just flush with solvent.
- DO NOT use on plastics or surfaces affected by solvents.
- DO NOT use on paint, lacquered, varnished or polished surfaces.
- DO NOT use on carpets, vinyls or similar floor surfaces.
- DO NOT use on any glazed products.
- Contains flammable solvents and precautions should be taken when using.
Auseal Blend Solvent is available in 1, 5, 10, 20 and 200 litre drums.

Gibco MRF Admixture
A new product line carried at SHGS. Gibco MFR produces superior mortars at substantial savings in time and expense. MRF mortars are high strength, virtually waterproof and colorfast without disbonding. MRF chemical concentrate solves the problems of excess tempering, efflorescence, freeze-thaw breakup, water penetration and lime burns. MRF mortars meet or exceed design specifications.
Typical applications are for:
Mortar and rendering. SHGS carries the 1 Ltr and 5 Ltr sizes. Recommended dosage is 40ml per 20kg of Cement.
Best Bond
SHGG Carries in stock Best bond in 4 sizes. 1 Ltr, 2 Ltr, 4Ltr and 20 Ltr. Its Suitable for many uses, which include: Cement toppings, rendering, sealing, plaster/hard plaster, dust proofing, binding, bonding new to old concrete, woodwork and carpentry adhesive. Note: This product is not suitable to be used in permanently wet areas.
Brick Waterproofer
SHGS carry 2 sizes of “brickies Red Waterproofer” 5ltr and 20 Ltr. Waterproofer is an admixture that chemically waterproofs cement mortar and renders. It is suitable for both interior and exterior use to protect against rising damp.
Mortar Plastercizer
This is specially formulated for cement render and mortar. It improves workability and adhesion. Available in 5 Ltrs.

Hydrochloric Acid
SHGS Carry 2 sizes of hydraulic acid – 5 Ltr and 15 Ltr.
- Hydrochloric acid is typically used to remove lumps of concrete of bricks.
- Use to remove excess contrete or motar.
Exposed Aggy Retarder
Prime Exposure is a water based chemical retarder used to expose the aggregate in the horizontal/ vertical concrete surfaces. 20 Ltr
